On the same night a fan spit on Trae Young at the Garden last Wednesday, Knicks rookie guard Immanuel Quickley was doused by beer.

A Garden fan who allegedly threw a beer toward the Knicks bench last week has been permanently banned from the arena, The Post has learned.

After Monday’s practice, Quickley was asked if a fan had tossed beer at the Knicks bench during the Game 2 victory, and he confirmed the incident.

“[In] Game 2, somebody threw a beer or something, not sure why, not even sure who did it, but it happened,’’ Quickley said. “I guess that’s part of having fans in the game.’’

NBA fan behavior has become a major issue. The fan in the second row who spit at Young also has been banned. The Post has learned the beer thrower was ejected that night.

“I’ve seen it happen before, and people are riled up for big games,’’ Quickley said. “I don’t really know what’s going through their head at that moment. I didn’t get a chance to ask them. But they were just riled up and threw a beer.’’

In the last week, the Nets Kyrie Irving had a bottle thrown at him in Boston, and the Wizards’ Russell Westbrook had popcorn dumped on him. On Monday, a fan ran onto the court during Game 4 of the 76ers-Wizards series.
