The Nets are slowly sliding in the standings. After back-to-back losses to the Bucks and a three-game losing streak, Brooklyn is 1.5 games back of the top-seeded 76ers in the East and only 1.5 games ahead of Milwaukee for the second seed. The Nets went from the top team in the conference to potentially not even having homecourt in the second round. Is it time for Nets fans to panic?

We answer that question and get into everything Nets on the newest episode of the “Fullcourt on Flatbush” podcast with Robin Lundberg and Kerry Kittles, featuring an interview with YES Network’s Sarah Kustok.

Fullcourt on Flatbush Podcast with Robin, Kerry & Jake:

  • NETS LOSING STREAK: Giannis was tough to defend. Nets are 9-10 without James Harden in the lineup. They badly need him for the playoffs. A championship for the Nets is dependent on him being healthy and playing.
  • STEVE NASH: Should he have called a timeout during the Bucks 18-1 run Tuesday? Worried about him coaching in his first postseason? Did his explanation make any sense for not using a timeout there?
  • SEEDING/PLAYOFFS: Concerned the Nets could fall to the 3rd seed? What team would you want the Nets to ideally face in the first round? Are the Knicks a team the Nets could handle if Harden were to not be available?

Sarah Kustok Interview:
YES Network Nets broadcaster

  • CURRENT NETS: Loves that there is noise around the team after seeing where this team was four years ago. Jeff Green has been consistent for this team. Enjoying the ride and the fact that they are a point of focus.
  • YES NETWORK CREW: They are her best friends. Lots of joy working together and it’s a group effort. Group texts are hilarious. Ian Eagle is even funnier off the air. He is the same way behind the scenes.
  • KITTLES VS. KUSTOK: Three-point shooting contest coming soon.
